Therefore, in 28-day pills, you will menstruate in the last 4-7 days of your ongoing treatment; in the 91-day pill pack, you are supposed to take medicine for 84 days, as you will witness periods in the last 7 days. Lastly, the 365 pill pack goes on for a year in which you may notice your periods to get lighter, or it can stop altogether.

Missed doses

If you have missed your dose and if it’s been less than 48 hours, you can take the pill right away. Or, in case if it’s been more than 48 hours, forget about the skipped dose and take the rest of the pills as scheduled. 

How to quit 

Doctors prescribe to finish the entire course of treatment and then quit. However, if you wish to stop before your pack is over, you may witness certain withdrawals, such as; bleeding, spotting, and irregular periods. 

You can start ovulating again for 14 days and then try to get pregnant.
