Do not take diclofenac sodium ophthalmic solution 0.1% if you are allergic to it or if any of the ingredients present in it.
Do not use this medicine if you notice a change in the colour of the solution.
This medicine can increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. It is not advised to use diclofenac just after bypass surgery.
Votaren may cause stomach or intestinal bleeding that can be fatal.
Your vision may be blurred for a time being, it is advised to not do any task that needs you to be alert until your vision gets clear.
During pregnancy, this medicine should be taken only when needed.

The following are the side effects of diclofenac (generic Voltaren 0.1% eye care drops;
• indigestion, gas, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain;
• diarrhea, constipation;
• headache, dizziness, drowsiness;
• abnormal lab tests;
• itching, sweating;
• stuffy nose;
• increased blood pressure; or
• swelling or pain in your arms or legs.
Apply the eye drop as directed.
Do not apply more than prescribed.
