My blood pressure reading showed 145/95 last year and I was put on Benicar 40mg to bring down the BP to a normal level. After being on this medication for 10 months, the recent reading showed my BP as 125/72. I am pretty much happy with the results and would continue with this medication. There hasn't been any side effect of this medication.
