I was taking the Metoprolol as my blood pressure was high, but I had no benefits from it. My doctors then put me on Amlodipine Besylate 5mg and it worked like a charm. It brought down the blood pressure to normal very quickly. I feel much better with the blood pressure averaging 125/82.
