I have been taking acetazolamide 250mg twice daily for pseudotumor. My neurologist said that I need to take this med for at least 2 years. The medication does what it says and the fluid and pressure have decreased dramatically in just 5 months.

I suffered 3 to 4 episodes of seizure in a couple of months, making me go unconscious. The doctor said that it was due to Epilepsy and prescribed Acetazolamide 250mg as a treatment. I have been taking this medication for 11 months without any issues. I did not witness any seizure episodes ever since, and I have been taking this medication. It has done well to control seizures.
