I was experiencing a frequent urge to urinate as the bladder would not empty entirely, which also caused painful urination. The doctor said it was due to enlarged prostate, and he prescribed Silodosin 8mg. I have been taking this medication for 12 months, and it has brought great relief. The frequency of urination has been minimised, and pain has gone down drastically. I did not notice any side effects of this medication.
