I used to have a large gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) that was removed way back in 2015, but the doctor put me on this medication for securing there’s no recurrence. None found so far.

I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Ductal Carcinoma, had undergone lumpectomy and months of radiation. I was also put on Imatinib Mesylate, all of these have worked for me and the tumor size has minimized significantly. I haven't experienced any major side effects while on this medication.
