Generic Rebetol 200mg Capsules contain Ribavirin as its active ingredient. It comes under a class of drugs known as nucleoside analogs. This medication, in combination with other antivirals, is known to treat some forms of the hepatitis C virus. Ribavirin works by interfering with the protein synthesis of the Hepatitis C virus.
